Yes, a $40.00 application fee is required by way of cash, check, or money order for each applicant. We do not accept card payments. We will not process your application until we receive this payment. This fee is used to cover costs associated with processing your rental application, including background checks, and administrative expenses.

St. Andrews is looking for responsible tenants who have a stable income, good rental history, and a clean background check. We want to insure you pay rent on time, take care of the property, and adhere to the terms of the lease agreement. You must be gainfully employed and provide proof of income. We are zero tolerance on charges including but not limited to drugs, assaults, evictions, and money owed. Previous landlord/property management information is required.

Yes, to be approved at St. Andrews Apartments you will need to provide proof of income equaling a net of 3.5 times the monthly rent. A month’s worth of pay stubs must be included with your application. If pay stubs are not applicable a W-2 from will suffice. 

The rental application process typically takes between one to three business days.

Yes, a security deposit is required before moving in. Once you have been approved you must provide payment for the security deposit to hold the apartment. The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent for the type of apartment you are renting.

St. Andrews accepts cash, check or money orders. We do not accept card payments or direct deposits. This is applicable for application fees, security deposits, and rent payments. 

St. Andrews provides water, sewer and garbage. The tenant is responsible for paying gas (MidAmerican Energy) and electric (Alliant Energy). Extra services such as cable or internet is the tenant’s responsibility. Internet providers at St. Andrews includes ImOn Communications and Medicom.

St. Andrews will only accept co-signers for new graduates. If you are a recent graduate with limited rental history or income, you will need someone with a steady income to co-sign your lease, essentially acting as a guarantor to ensure you can pay rent on time. If you require a co-signer, they need to go through our application process by filling out the application form, providing proof of income and a valid driver’s license.

We provide six month and twelve-month leases. If you choose to have a six month lease it is an extra $100 per month for the first six months.  After your first full lease if fulfilled you can choose to renew the lease for another year or go month to month. St. Andrews provides a discount program for long-term tenants. The discount will apply to those signing a year lease renewal.

Yes, St. Andrews has garages on site that are an extra $90.00 per month. Our garages are 10x24 and comes with a garage door opener with 24-hour access.

No pets allowed. This includes tenants and visitors.

The rental deposit will be forfeited if full term lease agreement is not fulfilled and payment for damages and cleaning is required in addition to losing the deposit.

St. Andrews has staff on-site Monday – Friday. The office is open 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and maintenance is on-site 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. If after hour emergency maintenance is required, staff will accommodate.
